Administration & Staff

Who We Are

All staff hired at JPGMA go through a rigorous vetting process.  We strive to hire the best teachers in each area to work with the children at the Academy. Teaching is a vocation.  The ability to work with multi age groups is both a great gift and responsibility. Each staff member is required to have a background check and is approved by the Head of School, Advisory Board, and Board of Directors.

Tom graduated from Christendom College with a B.A. in philosophy. He taught for two years at a classical charter school in San Antonio, Texas, and is looking forward to teaching in a Montessori classroom this year. Not wanting to be limited to the classroom alone, however, Tom is also eager to assist with the Formatio program, putting in what wisdom he can when it comes to trades and careers. A true teacher at heart, Tom has an eclectic range of interests including cello, carpentry, literature, weight lifting, drawing, painting, puzzles, piano, reading, and photography. This year, he will be teaching English language arts, history, math, and geography.
