Who We AreAll staff hired at JPGMA go through a rigorous vetting process. We strive to hire the best teachers in each area to work with the children at the Academy. Teaching is a vocation. The ability to work with multi age groups is both a great gift and responsibility. Each staff member is required to have a background check and is approved by the Head of School, Advisory Board, and Board of Directors.
Anne-Marie has studied Liberal Arts at the University of California in Riverside and the University of Poitiers in France. She has also lived in Denmark, Portugal and Mexico. She homeschooled her eight children while attending Classical Cottage in Winchester for 19 years. Their focus on the classical method of education with a strong foundation in Latin was developed and trained. She is proficient in the Nature Method of Lingua Latina. Anne-Marie persevered in her love for the study of languages despite having dyslexia. She believes this gives her the desire to identify and attend to the individual learning styles of students while strengthening the positive effect in the classroom to create a dynamic learning environment.
