Administration & Staff

Who We Are

All staff hired at JPGMA go through a rigorous vetting process.  We strive to hire the best teachers in each area to work with the children at the Academy. Teaching is a vocation.  The ability to work with multi age groups is both a great gift and responsibility. Each staff member is required to have a background check and is approved by the Head of School, Advisory Board, and Board of Directors.

John Dillon is a recent graduate from Christendom College, holding a BA in the Liberal Arts with special focus on History and Classics/Early Christian Studies. His thesis (winner of the 2025 Warren H. Carroll Thesis Award) studied Christian soldiers in the Roman army and early church militarism in the 2nd and 3rd centuries, a project that combined his love for history and ancient language studies. John has had experience teaching at some of Front Royal’s own private Catholic institutions and abroad, having spent the summer of 2025 in Portugal instructing a foreign language immersion course for Catholic high schoolers in and around Lisbon.

John, originally a California native, has been an admirer of the Front Royal community for the past five years and is blessed to now reside here with his wife and fellow educator, Laine. At JPGMA, he teaches in the middle and high schools and leads the Middle School Men’s Formatio program.

John looks forward to continuing in his pursuit of knowledge by doing the only thing that teaches him best: helping others to learn.
