Administration & Staff

Who We Are

All staff hired at JPGMA go through a rigorous vetting process.  We strive to hire the best teachers in each area to work with the children at the Academy. Teaching is a vocation.  The ability to work with multi age groups is both a great gift and responsibility. Each staff member is required to have a background check and is approved by the Head of School, Advisory Board, and Board of Directors.

Curtis Falkenstein holds a BA in History from the University of Virginia and is currently pursuing an MA in History from Liberty University. After graduating from U.Va. in 2014, Curtis has worked as a craft brewer, farmhand, and pizzaiolo. He has always been passionate about education, and is blessed to be a part of the JPGMA family. His hobbies include gardening, enjoying the surrounding mountains, and exploring the culinary arts. Born and raised in Shenandoah County, Curtis now lives with his wife and infant son in Winchester. At JPGMA, he will be teaching History and Theology.
